Rapinoe has scored two goals for the United States in the 4-3 victory over Australia in the Olympic bronze medal match in Tokyo in 2020 because of the COVID-19 epidemic which Japan had to delay to 2021 due to the effects from this epidemic, also was awarded the gold medal at Tokyo in 2016.
